The Mystery of Holly Lane

Why does the banshee wail in Banshee Toweres, that spooky place high on the hill? Of course the Five Find-Outers are determined to solve the mystery and set off in search of clues.

A missing picture, a locked-up house, and a white poodle-all these come together to make up the mystery of Tally-Ho Cottage. It seems insolveable until Fatty has a brainwave - to Mr. Goon's disgust.

Who is Mr. Bigfeet? All the Five Find-Outers know is that hi is a thief who seems able to slip in and out of houses without being seen-yet he leaves the most enormous footprints! Once again it is a battle of wits between the young detectives and P.C. Goon. It is also a battle of disguises, but Fatty, of course, is too clever for poor old Goon when it comes to disguise.

What an astonishing case it was! The missing man was an escaped convict. The only clues the Five Find-Outers have is that he is an expert on disguises and like insects. Fatty, their own expert on disguises, immediately sets off in an effort to find the missing man before Mr. Goon, the policeman, captures him. The trail leads, of all places, to a flea circus in a travelling fair!

Only one person could have robbed the Little Theatre - Boysie, the Pantomime Cat. But the Five Find-Outers know that Boysie would never had done such a thing. The Five Find-Outers set to work to clear poor Boysie and find the real criminal.

All the Five Find-Outers have had flu this Christmas holiday, so it doesn't seem as if anything exciting could happen. But then a strange robbery, where nothing seems to have been taken, occurs. Mr Fellows, whose house was robbed, seems to have run out in the night and thrown a bundle into the river

Prince Bongawah is staying at a school camp near Peterswood, but before Fatty, Larry, Daisy, Pip and Bets get to see him he disappears in the middle of the night! The Find-Outers, along with the help of Ern and his brothers Sid and Pearce, are on the case to find the missing prince. And this time they'll have to work with Mr Goon...
